The readings address social ministry and the social Gospel approach. When we realize the Bible has been telling us to take care of the poor, help and release the oppressed, feed the hungry, comfort those in stress, and attend to so many other social needs since the time of Isaiah, we have to wonder why people refuse to do what God is asking of us.
LGBTQueer issues are before our Congress and many State Houses across the USA. There is a general refusal to educate students on the story of all ethnicities that make up this Country, especially the African-American true story. Ray Of Hope Church is a Social Gospel, Bible, and Sacramental church in practice and purpose.
